Chiok-Kú Bô Khòaⁿ Lín: A Letter Home

  • Culture Center of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Join us for an afternoon of music exploring the shifting meaning of “home” through the lens of Taiwanese soundscapes. Inspired by the Hokkien phrase “long time no see,” Chiok-Kú Bô Khòaⁿ Lín reflects on belonging, displacement, and the emotional journey of navigating between cultures.

Featuring works by contemporary Taiwanese composers — ranging from beloved folk tunes to bold new sonic explorations — this program invites listeners to reflect on how time, memory, and distance shape our connection to home.
